What is a leader?

A leader is anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes, and has the courage to develop that potential.

Not dependent on position or education or age, a leader is someone willing to take wise risks.

You recognize that the outer work alone is not enough: social transformation must be fueled by a shift within.

You also recognize that the inner work alone is not enough: values & intentions must find expression through work in the world.

What do we mean by the Great Transition?

We face unprecedented possibilities for breakthrough and breakdown:

Environmental- climate change, natural disasters, population growth, overconsumption, clean water...
Cultural- political polarization, urbanization, social movements like #MeToo and Black Lives matter...
Technological- AI/ML, nanotech, blockchain, genetic engineering, space tourism...

The world to come will be vastly different from the world we have known.

Increased disruption and complexity are guaranteed.

The outcomes are not.

And it's up to us to steer the process.
